About Terry Ruettiger
 
Terry graduated from Joliet Catholic High School in 1963. He attended Joliet Junior College from 1963 to ‘65 and then attended Lewis College (now Lewis University) from 1965 to ‘67. Terry was drafted into the U.S. Army in February 1968 and served in Vietnam as a rifleman from July 1968 to September 1969. He was wounded in action in September 1968.
 
After returning from the Army, he worked for various local firms as a land surveyor from 1970 to ‘79.
He started a land surveying business in 1979 with a lifelong friend, Dennis Tonelli.
Their business expanded to include civil engineering, land planning and geographic information systems and by the year 2000 we had about 60 employees. He retired in 2007 from this business.
 
His life partner and wife, Elaine, has been at his side for the last 52 years. They have four wonderful children and ten grandchildren. Their oldest, Krista, 51, lives with her husband, Chris, and their 2 daughters, Ava and Sophie, in Glen Ellen, Illinois. Their son, Jeff, 48, lives with his wife, Heidi, and their 3 daughters, Lucy, Anna, and Alice, in Wheaton, Illinois. Their daughter, Kara, 46, lives with her husband Joel and their 2 daughters, Iris and Vivian, in Elmhurst, Illinois. Their daughter, Katie, 44, lives with her husband, Mike, and their children, Ella, Mikey, and Drew, in Indiana.
 
Life has been wonderful, and he looks forward to being with his family for years to come.

Suzanne Corson is a leader in nonprofit management and marketing with over 25 years of experience.  
 
She has a passion for healthcare, dedicating her career to empowering self-advocacy and helping to expand access to care. 
 
She regularly speaks to local organizations about the importance of understanding one’s personal health history and building a strong doctor-patient relationship.
 
She currently serves as executive director of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors (ANJC), an organization that advocates for the membership of 1,500 chiropractors and works to protect a patient's right to access high-quality chiropractic healthcare.
 
Prior to joining the ANJC, Suzanne served over 10 years as executive director at Susan G. Komen, an organization dedicated to ending breast cancer forever. In her most recent role at Komen, she led a team committed to serving the community by raising funds to provide treatment assistance, patient navigation, and education throughout the state while funding innovative national research initiatives.
 
A lifelong resident of Freehold, New Jersey, and graduate of Seton Hall University, Suzanne has a long history of volunteering in the community, having served on committees for the YMCA, Girl Scouts, CentraState Medical Center Foundation, and the Freehold Township Education Foundation.  She currently serves on the board for Preferred Behavioral Healthcare and as vice chair of the fundraising committee for the Chiropractic Future Strategic Plan.

Dr. Cindy M. Howard, Chiropractic Internist and Nutritionist

Dr. Cindy M. Howard is a Board Certified Chiropractic Internist and Nutritionist in private practice and the owner of Innovative Health & Wellness Center in Orland Park, Illinois and also holds a license in the state of Florida. She owns DC consulting; assisting private practices improve their communication skills and improving patient adherence while building a better functional medicine and nutritional practice. 

For the last 13 years she has served as the Illinois delegate for the American Chiropractic Association and as the alternate for 6 years prior to that.  She was the ACA recipient of the Flynn/Lynch award in 2015 for outstanding service. 

She serves on the board of Inguardia Health since the inception all while providing medical support during the creation and production of the first oral device being brought to market to measure health metrics. 

She also serves on the medical advisory board for Fullscript, the Chiropractic Defense Council, and the Functional Medicine University. Dr. Howard is an associate editor of The Original Internist and a regular contributor for Chiropractic Economics  and the Illinois Chiropractic Society online newsletter. She is a past president of the ACA Council on Diagnosis and Internal Disorders and currently serves as the Vice President of the College of Pharmacology and Toxicology.

She speaks nationally, presenting on health topics including Pre and Post Concussion Nutrition, Headaches, Sexual Health, Male and Female Pelvic Disorders, GI Disorders, Nutritional Blood Analysis Interpretation. On the business side she speaks on creating dialogue and building relationships as well as on sales techniques for physicians.  Her keynote presentations are drawn from her personal experiences and entail overcoming adversity, finding the gifts and learning how to laugh. 

In 2020 Dr. Cindy Howard was awarded the Chiropractor of the Year from the Illinois Chiropractic Society.
